For the Anon that requested “When you get into a fight and make up later”
It had been three long weeks since your boyfriend was no longer around. You never realized how much of an influence he was in your life. Hearing his voice daily, receiving text messages, being in his arms, were all the things you missed.
His group had already completed their comeback stage and their name was constantly on everyone’s lips. You tried to forget him, but hearing his name all the time didn’t help. You couldn’t even bring yourself to see them perform on Music Core. The idea constantly brought you to tears. You missed him and there was a huge hole in your heart that only he could fill.
After another week of resistance you finally caved. You turned on the television one night to see them perform on Music Core. The other groups that performed before them were great but they didn’t keep your attention.
When his group came on it was a bittersweet moment. Seeing him after all that time made you extremely happy, but at the same time it made your heart hurt.
The song they performed was great. It was lively and the dance moves were on fire. When they ended you were about to turn off the t.v. when you heard your Ex-boyfriend’s voice.
“This next song is a solo performance. I self- composed this song a couple weeks ago and I hope you enjoyed it.
When he started to sing tears started to form in the corner of your eyes. The melody was soft at and you could tell the lyrics were meant for you.
He sang about how sorry he was to his woman and how he was a fool to let her go. He sang about how if he could rewind time he would have shown his woman affection instead of anger. He sang about how his life was a wreck ever since he decided to part ways with his one true love. At the end of the song we sweetly whispered “Jagi-yah I’m sorry, please take me back”.
While he was walking off the stage you could see tears in his eyes. One fell over and he quickly wiped it away.
You sat on the couch dazed and confused. You wanted to believe that he meant the things he said in the song but it was hard. You were still mad at the fact that he didn’t seem so heartbroken when he decided you guys needed a break. He called a few times over the past few weeks but each time you let it go to voice mail.
You shut off the television and made your way to bed. You had a lot on your mind and sleeping seemed like a good way to cure it. You got under the covers and pulled them over your head letting out a scream. Screaming seemed to have let out 0.01% of your frustration. Soon you fell asleep and everything was out of sight out and out of mind.

Knock, Knock , Knock………..knock , knock, knock
You groggily sat up and looked at the clock. It read 2:18 am in bright red.
Knock, Knock, Knock
There was that annoying noise again. You figured it must be the door. You slowly made your way out of bed and towards the front door, your eyes heavy with fatigue.
When you got to the door you looked through the peephole and saw ______. You exhaled deeply.
“Who is it?”. You said irritated.
“It’s me______. Open the door.”
“It’s two in the morning. Go home and come back when the sun is up.” You said to the door.
“Jagi-yah please open the door.”
“Don’t call me that.” You said disturbed. He had no right to call you that anymore. He lost his chance a few weeks ago. Even though you initiated the break up he didn’t have to agree.
“Sorry….I really need to talk to you. Please open the door and let me in.”
“Fine” You said. You opened the door and let him in. Upon entering he took off his shoes, made his way to your kitchen table and sat down. You closed the door and sat down across from him, looking at him straight in the eye.
“Did you see Music Core today?” He asked hopefully.
“That song I sang was for you.”
“Oh.” You said and looked away from him. What did he want you to say? Did he want a pat on the back?
“ ‘Oh’. That’s all you have to say. I pour my heart out to you and all you have to say is ‘Oh’”. He said sounding upset.
“______, its two in the morning and I can barely keep my eyes open. Can we talk about this later?” You didn’t have anything to say to him plus this conversation was going nowhere.
“No, I can’t. I don’t want to leave here until you forgive me and be my woman again.” He then got up from the table and made his way over to you. He knelt down in front of you.
“The thought of not having you in my life makes me angry. I’m sorry that I acted like an ass. You were right. I took advantage of you and I don’t deserve you. He said looking at you with pleading eyes.
You brought your hand to his face and stroked his face gently.
“You’re right, you don’t deserve me”. You said as you pulled your hand back and slapped him hard in face.
To be continued……..
Anon I’m sorry if this is so long. It came out longer than I expected.
