Forever {Optional Bias}
This was it. Its was finally over. Tears came to your eyes as you looked around the room. You had finally moved into your new home. But that wasn’t the part that made you tear up. It was the fact that you moved in with him. The love of your life. The wedding was over, the honeymoon was over, moving in was over, and now your life officially started together.
You stood in the living room surveying the area. The house was big but it was tiny. It was small comfortable. The room was dimly lit giving off a homey feeling. It made your heart swell with joy. You slowly walked over to the fire place and looked at the picture that was resting above it. It was a picture of you two with your friends during your wedding. Your face was in his hands and he was trying to kiss you but you pulled your face away from as far as you could jokingly. There was cake all over his lips and needless to say you didn’t want to get that on your cheek, even though that was his plan. At the time everyone thought you seriously did not want to The memory made you smile and giggle a little.
“What’s so funny” a voice said from behind you. Slightly started you looked over your shoulder to see him grinning at you with his hands on his hips.
“Who said you could laugh without.” He said while making his way over to you and wrapping his arms around you from behind.
“I was laughing at you, so technically you’re the one who said I could laugh without you.”
“Well I suppose that’s fine” he said with a chuckle resting his chin on your shoulder.
“I can’t believe we live here now” You said absentmindedly.
“Yea, I know. Whenever the reality of it all sets in I’m excited but on the other hand nervous.” You looked at him with a confused expression.
“Nervous? Why?”
“ The future kind scares me to be honest. I don’t know what’s in store for us. The only thing that helps is knowing that I won’t be facing the future alone. I’ll be with you forever and that comforts me”
“That’s really cheesy” You said with a laugh,
“I know but that how I feel.”He said chuckling. He unwrapped his hands from around you and grabbed your hand. “I have something for you.”
“What is it?”
“You’ll see be patient” He said while leading you up the stairs and into the bedroom you now both shared. He sat you down on the bed and went over to one of the nearby dressers retrieving an envelope from inside. Once he grabbed it he walked over to the bed and sat next to you.
“Open it” he said while handing you the blank envelope. You didn’t expect to find what was inside. Apparently it was a document stating he had opened a Grow up plan with Gerber Life Insurance.
“I don’t understand. Where are expecting a child.” You said confused
“I know but this is my way of showing you my commitment. My forever. I didn’t know what else to do so I kind of thought ahead. I know for sure I want to have a child with you if not more. And I want to be with you until that child grows up and no longer needs us. I want to be with you until the very end and in a way this is my way of showing you.” You smile and leaned over to hug him with tears in your eyes.
“This was definitely outside of the box but this is one of the best gifts you could have ever given me.”
“Its not only a gift of my heart. But a gift of my promise to you….Forever.”

When You Beat Him in A Video Game {Optional Bias}
“Ok Oppa I hope you are ready for a beatdown because that is exactly what you are going to get!” You said your excitement going through the roof.
“Jagiyah you have never played this game before so there is no way you are going to beat me.”
“We will see about that.” You replied with a smirk. Lately you noticed your boyfriend was always playing a new monster game that was recently released. It was no secret that he was good, but you were even better. One of your close friends happened to be a big time gamer so you got her to teach you not only how to play but little cheats here and there that will slam him into the ground.
You usually didn’t care much for video games but you felt the need to show him how good you were.
One late evening you challenged him to play against you and he quickly agreed to play. It was a game where each person would have to go through town and kill as many monsters as they could. As the first round started you did not want to unleash too much of your skills so you took it easy. Needless to say he was a bit shocked by the fact that you were not completely incompetent in the game. The next round you unleashed your fury. You won and he lost by a long shot. In between the second and third round he paused the game and looked over to you, resting the game controller on the ground.
“Jagiyah, what’s going on here?”
“What do you mean?” You said looking up at him innocently.
“How are you so good at this game?”
“I’m not really sure.. I guess I just have natural talent.” You said lies pouring from your mouth. ____ then picked up his game controller and switched off the game.
“I don’t feel like playing anymore.” He said as he turned off the TV. For a couple seconds you sat there in shock. Was he mad that he lost?
He got up and walked to the bathroom leaving up in thought in the livingroom. He was being a sore loser.
“Oppa are you made that I won?” you yelled from the livingroom while putting things away. When the thought registered in your mind you started laughing. He was in the bathroom brushing his teeth and he heard you laughing from in the living room which only increased his annoyance at you.
You got up and went to the bedroom you both shared while still laughing. You found him in the process of changing his clothes with his back facing you. He pulled off his T-shirt and you stopped laughing. Your eyes were stuck on the firm muscles and abs that were presented in front of you. He then turned around and faced you.
“No I’m not mad just annoyed at the whole situation. Are you going to stand there all day and stare at me?” He said with a smirk. You barely understood what he said but got the gist of it. You nodded no and went to go and change your clothes. When you were done getting ready for bed you joined _____ in the land of pillows and snuggled next to him and he wrapped his arms around you.
“You know for your first time playing that game you were pretty good.” He said quietly.
“Like I said, its natural talent.” You whispered and drifted off to sleep.

When You Fall Asleep {Optional Bias}
Sorry I haven’t written in a while. This is short but I wanted to post it anyway. Hope you enjoy.

“Tonight we are going to have an all nighter. Its going to be you and me no backing down.” You said enthusiastically as you poured the popcorn from the bag into a bowl. You walked into the living room and sat down next to him on the ground with your back pressed against the couch. You and your special man were planning to watch movies all night, play videos, and basically just have fun.
“What movie do you want to watch first?” he said as you placed the bowl of popcorn in his lap. You grabbed a few pieces and flung them in your mouth.
“Doesn’t matter to me whatever you want.” You replied while crunching on your snack, a few pieces flying out of your mouth.
“You know talking with your mouth full isnt very lady like.” He said and threw a disgusted glance in your direction. Just to annoy him you popped a few more kernels into your mouth and chewed with you mouth open as close as you could to his face. A few pieces landed on his face and you tried to hold in your laughter but you couldn’t.
“Thats gross and it’s not funny.” He said while he wiped his face with his hands. “Seriously, that’s nasty.” He gave you an annoyed look and crawled to the cabinet where all your DVD’s were stored.
“How about we watch transformers?!” He said while pulling out the DVD.
“Which one?” You said even though you were not in the mood to watch transformers, AGAIN.
“Well since we are staying up all night, I suggest all three! One right after another.”
“Oppa I don’t want to watch transformers” You said whiningly flailing your arms around.
“Fine you pick the movie” He said disappointedly. You said a little cheer and crawled over to where all the DVD’s were displayed. You picked out your favorite movie and placed it inside the DVD tray. When it started playing the both of you returned to where you were previously sitting with your backs against the couch. ____’s arm was wrapped around you and you placed your head on his shoulder.
As the previews played you couldn’t help but feel a little bit tired. You had jogged in the park for a couple of hours earlier and you were starting to feel the effects. You pushed the thought to the back of your head and continued watching the screen. Half-way though the movie you let out a yawn and felt your eyes becoming heavy. You were not aware but _____ was observing you and could tell that you were going to knock out soon.
“You’re not falling asleep are you?” He said looking down at you.
“Of course not! I’m staying awake all night and I am enjoying the movie.” You said and pulling your head up and away from his shoulder. As soon as you did so you felt the heavy weight of your head and it was hard to keep up.
“Okay…” He said but was not convinced. 30 minutes remaining in the movie and your eyelids were aching to be closed. You decided that closing your eyes for one second wasn’t going to do any harm. You placed you head back onto his shoulder and decided that closing your eyes for one minute wouldn’t do any harm.

As the credits rolled by your boyfriend let out a sigh.
“That was a good movie but I think transformers would have been better. Any thoughts?” ____ said and looked down at you. As he saw the state you were in he let out a laugh.
“It was your idea to stay up all night and you couldn’t even last one movie. And your drooling on me…great.” You were in a deep sleep and couldn’t hear a single word he said. He carefully removed you from his shoulder and snaked an arm under you so that he could lift you up. He carried you into the bedroom that you shared and placed you on the bed and pulled the covers over you.
“I guess this is payback for that one time I feel asleep on you huh?”

When he tries to cook for you {Optional Bias}
You job was currently undergoing changes to the management and this left you very stressed. Your previous boss was strict but easy to work for. When the company let her go you weren’t sure how the future looked for you and your job position. When the new boss was announced you almost fell over on your face. Your new boss would be the extremely annoying Park Jieun. She never liked you and she made that apparent every time she got the chance. She would purposefully assign you the hardest projects even though you had previous assignments to deal with and other employees had none.
To help make you feel better your special man wanted to do something nice for you because he noticed you were not eating as well as you usually would and you were increasingly stressed. After a long time debating what he should do he decided that he would make you dinner. He figured a nice home cooked meal was what you needed.
One day while you were unaware he woke up early in the morning and made his way to the grocery store. You figured he went to practice when you didn’t see him next to you in the morning and thought nothing of it and went to work.
When he arrived he walked aisle by aisle in search of all the things he needed to make you dinner. His insides were about to burst from excitement and anticipation. The surprised and happy look after seeing his work was all he wanted to see.
After he collected all the supplies he needed he went to the cashier. Since nobody was in line he was able to go to the front right away.
“Oh! Young man why do you have so much food? Your mother doesn’t feed you at home?” An older behind the register said.
“Halmoni I am an adult, I don’t live with my mother.” He said laughing lightly.
“Well then, why do you have so much food?” She asked while scanning his ingredients.
“Its for my girlfriend. She has been really stressed with lately so I decided I wanted to make her dinner.” He replied as the elderly woman finished packing the ingredients into plastic bags.
“That’s so nice! You know if it doesn’t work out with your girlfriend, I have a lovely granddaughter around your age and cooks very well.” The elderly woman said with a bright smile.
“Haha! I’ll keep that in mind.” He said in order to entertain the woman. He quickly paid, grabbed the things and left the grocery store.
He briskly walked two blocks to your apartment building and ran up the stairs. WHen he got inside he immediately ran to the kitchen and got to work.
On the menu was roast beef, vegetables and mashed potatoes. In reality he had no idea how to make anything besides ramen, but with the help of the internet anything was possible.
Six hours later your work shift was over. You packed up your things and made your way home. When you got home the first thing you noticed was the smell of smoke. You quickly dropped your things and dashed for the kitchen out of instinct. When you entered you found _____ standing there with food scattered all over the place and him with a towel trying to get rid of smoke.
“____! What’s going on here? Why is the kitchen in a mess and what’s burning?!”
“I was trying to make you a home cooked meal since you haven’t been eating very well lately.” He said quickly and pulled a pan out of the oven filled with a dark lump of burnt food. More smoke came out of the oven and you were coughing heavily. You rushed over to the nearest window and opened it while sticking your head outside, breathing in fresh air. When the smoke dissipated into the air you turned around to find ____ looking sadly at all the burnt food.
“Oppa, this was really considerate of you. Even though the food burnt, thank you.” you said walking over to him and wrapping your arms around his neck. He pulled you closer to him and put his hands of your hips.
“I really wanted to do something nice for you.” He said with a sigh.
“I know and I’m really touched. How about next time you just order food instead of cooking.?”
“I guess that would be a better idea.” He said smiling down at you.
“Now that that’s settled can we order a pizza? I’m really hungry” You said laughing.
“OK, I’ll go and do it. You go and relax.” He said letting go of you and grabbing his phone.

Cheating {Part 1}
As of late your boyfriend was not showing you as much attention as he normally would. Whenever he was home he would spend his time playing video games. Every time you would try to make conversation, he would either give you one word answers or half-hearted answers. His daily phone calls to see how you were doing became less and less and seem like it was forced. Eventually the phone calls stopped altogether. Whenever you would call home he would just tell you he was busy and then hang up the phone.
He no longer told you he loved you, hugged you, or kissed you. Living with him felt more like living with a roommate rather than a lover. The lack of love and romance pushed you into the arms of another man which happened to be your ex-boyfriend Hyun Shik.
“Everything is fine. Its not like he is here right now.” you said as you grabbed his hand and walked down the dark hallway into your living room. You realised his hand and walked over to a small lamp and turned it on. Hyun Shik was still standing awkwardly in the living room doorway looking around refusing to meet your eyes.
You walked towards him and stood in front of him examine his face. You could tell that he was nervous and was concerned about the possibility of being caught.
“He is working late tonight and is staying at a friends house. We won’t get caught.” You said wrapping your arms around his neck. Lies were pouring from your mouth. The truth was that your boyfriend had late practice and a recording to go to so he would not be coming home until the next day. Hyun Shik didn’t need to know, so he wasn’t told.
“Alright then, I haven’t seen you for a long time. I missed you.” He said wrapping his hands around your waist and leaving light kisses on your neck.
“I’ve missed you too.” you whispered as his light kisses progressed into sucking on your neck. He moved his hands under your thighs and wrapped your legs around his torso as he walked over to the couch. When he sat down you were straddling him with both of your legs on either side of his thighs. He brought his lips up to yours and kissed you hungrily. He bit down on the bottom of your lip and pushed his tongue into your mouth.
Your tongues were fighting for dominance when you bunched his shirt in your fists and roughly pulled it over his head when your lips disconnected.
“I think we should slow down.” you said breathing heavily.
“No I think we should keep going.” He said and reconnected your lips in a heated kiss. You let your hands travel all over his torso feeling his wonderfully defined abs under your fingertips.
He then impatiently pulled your jacket off of you and pulled your shirt off shortly after. He kissed all over your newly exposed skin. Your hands found his hair and tugged on it while he kissed your shoulder. He slowly moved his hands all over your back and placed his head on the crook of your sholder while tying to unclasp your bra.
Suddenly he roughly pushed you off of his lap onto the couch.
“What’s wrong?!” you yelled in surprise starting at his face. You slowly moved your head to the direction Hyun Shik was looking to see your boyfriend standing in the living room doorway with anger and sadness splashed across his face.

Confession

“Must keep awake, must keep awake, must keep awake.” you chanted in your head over and over. You were at your best friends _____’s house, the two of you were just relaxing at his home when you suddenly became very tired. He was in his bedroom doing something else so you decided to rest your head down in the couch.
After a couple of minutes you heard him enter the room and take a seat in another chair. You were going to speak but stopped when you heard him start to talk.
“We were supposed to be hanging out tonight and you’re here sleeping.” You heard him say with a soft chuckle. You have slept over his house before so you were in no rush to wake up just to hang out with him. You then heard him get up from his seat and started to walk over to where you were. You then felt his hand on the side of your face caressing you gently.
What on earth is he doing?! This is definitely not friendship behavior.
“You know I love you right.” he said gently.
What?!
“I always wanted to tell you but could never form the words.”
You trying your hardest to continue to be pretend you were asleep but it was hard. At this point you were completely awake even though you kept your eyes closed.
“Now here you are on my couch sleeping like an angel and all I can do is confess to you while you are asleep.” he said and got up slowly and walked away.
You couldn’t believe what just happened. The person you had been in love with for the longest while loved you too. You were about to get up when you heard him walk back into the room and returned to your side.
“I know this is lame but I am going to pretend you’re awake. Will you be my girlfriend?” He said sweetly. Without thinking twice yo shot up and got into a sitting position.
“Yes.” You said looking him straight into the eye.
“ I would love to be your girlfriend.”
He yelped out shock and took a few seconds to catch his breathe.
“You heard me?!” he said surprised.
“I heard everything you said. I have been in love with you too for the longest time.” you said as he looked at you with disbelief.
“Why haven’t you said anything?”
“I was too shy and it would ruin our friendship.” you said looking down at the ground.
“Thats the same reason I didn’t say anything.” He said with a light laugh and sitting next to you on the couch.
“So what now?” you asked looking up at him.
“I don’t really know. All I know is that life would be a lot better… now that I have you.” He said pulling you close to him and placing a sweet kiss on your forehead.

When He Confesses on Television Who His Girlfriend Is
I wrote this while listening to SS501 “Let Me be The One”

“Oh! Strong heart is on!” You said as you ran over to the couch and plopped down in front of the TV. This week your boyfriend was to guest star and being the supportive girlfriend you were , you had to tune in.
The MC was opening with a few jokes to warm up the atmosphere. After that the guests started coming out and your boyfriend appeared.
“Please welcome _____!” The MC said. The audience started applauding and cheering while your boyfriend waved and took a seat. The feeling of the program started to get serious when each person was sharing their heartfelt experiences. After a few people it was finally your boyfriends turn.
“______-ssi, your title is ‘I am no longer alone’, care to explain?”
“Well back when I was a trainee I had a rough time. I always felt alone and there were many times where I thought I could no longer go on with my dream of being a singer. A lot of times and wanted to quit and go home.”
“Awww” the audience said.
“However, things got better when I became friends with the other members. After debuting we were closer than brothers so I didn’t feel so alone anymore.” He said and the audience broke out in applause.
“Thats wonderful! So now that you have a your members you are no longer alone?” the MC asked.
“Well, even though I have my brothers I used to still feel alone, but in a different kind of way. Am I making sense?”
“Yes I understand, keep going.”
“So then I met this special person and my loneliness completely went away. Because of this person I am constantly smiling.” He said with a huge smile on his face. The audience again said aww.
“Well who is this person?” The MC asked.
“My girlfriend.”
At that moment the audience gasped and it got quiet.
“Her name is ______ and she is a foreigner. She is in college and speaks fluent Korean.”
“______-ssi, why did you decide to go public with your relationship instead of keeping it a secret.”
“I could have kept her a secret but each and everyday she is the only one I think of. It feels like a miracle to have her in my life. Having her in my life is like being on a cloud every second. How can I keep something like that to a secret? How can I keep something like that to myself?”
Once more the audience broke out with an aww.
“To my fans, if you really care about me and want me to be happy then please support us. Without her I would have no reason to be happy. I want her to be the one for me and let me be the one for her. Thank you.”
You sat there shocked at the event that just took place. Your relationship was no longer a secret. He confessed his love for you on national television. The whole thing brought tears to your eyes.
At the end of the show your boyfriend won a reward for having the most touching story. He had a shy smile on his face while he accepted it.
You turned off the TV and just sat there rewinded the whole thing in your mind. A minute later you felt your phone go off in your pocket, you saw it was a text from your boyfriend.
“You’re one in a million and I meant every word I said on strong heart. I know you saw it. They say once in a lifetime you meet the love of your life and I think that my time is now.”

You stood there staring at the two of them kissing. After a while ______ noticed you standing by the door.
“______! What are you doing here” He said shock written all over his face.
“Oppa, who is this?” The girl said looking at you,
“Just a friend. Nobody special.” He said smugly.
Just a friend? Nobody special? Your relationship only ended yesterday not two years ago.
“_____, can I talk to you in the hallway” He said turning his attention to you.
“Um…y-yea…s-sure…” You said stuttering. You were having a hard time registering what exacting was going on. He got up from his seat and made his way to you. You turned around and made your way outside.
“What are you doing here?”
“I came to explain, You haven’t been picking up any of my phone calls and the thing with Matthew-”
“I don’t want to talk about this right now. I still can’t believe what you did to me” He said cutting
you off.
“That’s the thing. I didn’t do anything to you. I wasn’t cheating on you with Matthew.”
“How can you stand there and lie to me. I saw everything with my own eyes.”
“This is a huge misunderstanding. HE kissed me I didn’t kiss him.”
“I’m sorry but I don’t believe you.”
“Maybe you should hear it from me then.” You turned around to see Matthew standing there. Out of shock you grabbed your chest.
“Dude what are you doing here? Are you trying to make me upset?! We already broke up because of you!” ____ yelled.
“Well you didn’t seem so heart broken kissing that girl over there!”
“Oh calm down! I told you two weeks ago that for the special performance I have to kiss a girl. We were practicing.”
“Who practices a kiss scene?”
“I do. I haven’t kissed anyone but you for a long time so I thought we should run thru it once. I can’t just go on stage and kiss some other woman. I would freeze up out of the weirdness of kissing someone else. And we weren’t exactly making out or anything like that, our lips only touched.”
“Thats makes sense then.” you said. At that moment you realized that Matthew was still standing nearby. You turned your attention to him.
“Matthew, what are you doing here.”
“I came to explain things. I called his manager and explained everything and he let me come. _____ I was the one who kissed ____. We are only friends. I was under the impression that she liked me more than that but I was wrong. She was never cheating on you. I’m sorry for causing this mess.”
_____ looked between you and Matthew repeatedly.
“I told you I wasn’t lying. I love you and I would never cheat on you.”
He then pulled you into his arms with your face on his chest.
“Jagi-yah I’m sorry for overreacting. You understand where I was coming from right? I was heartbroken and clouded by anger.”
“Oppa I understand and it’s Ok.”
“Will you forgive a pabo like me?”
“Yea I forgive you.”
He kissed the top of your head and let go of you.
“Thanks for taking the time to come down here.” He said to Matthew and shook his hand.
“No problem. I’m going to get out of here and leave you guys alone.” He said and left.
“______ TO THE STAGE! ______ TO THE STAGE! “ you heard of the loudspeaker.
“I have to go but I will see you later ok?’ He said and gave you a kiss on your forehead.
“Later tonight we can celebrate our reunion!” He said with a wink before running down the hallway.

Misunderstandings {Part 4}

“So what are you going to do?”
“I don’t really know what I am going to do.” You said with a heavy sigh. You bid Matthew goodbye and slowly made your way up to your apartment. The door was hanging wide open for anyone to enter if they had pleased. You made your way to your bathroom and stripped off your clothes. All you needed was a hot shower to wash away the day’s worries and problems. When you stood in the bathtub with the water running you didn’t even bother to clean yourself. What was the point? You didn’t have to smell good for anyone anyway. You turned off the water and in your towel you trudged to your bedroom. His clothes were still lying around as they usually were and his scent entered your nose.
You sat down at the edge of the bed and got out your cellphone and dialed his number. After a few rings it went into voice mail. You weren’t surprised. Its not like he wanted to talk anyway. You decided to try one more time.
Ring, RIng Ring…
”Hello?” a male voice said into the phone.
“_____?”
“No, sorry, its me.” It was one of his band mates. They were all aware of the relationship so he was not surprised by your call.
“Why did you pick up Oppa’s phone? Where is he?”
“He is passed out on the couch. He came over here an hour ago really angry and wanted to go get some drinks. While we were out he wouldn’t stop drinking and eventually passed out. Is everything OK? He is usually at your house”
“Um..We kind of had an argument.”
“Well I understand that much. He wasn’t talking about you in a positive manner. He was cursing and yelling nonsense about how you guys broke up. I didn’t believe anything he said why would you guys break up? Your perfect together.” He said. It wasn’t like it was a mutual break up. He didn’t even let you get a word in.
“It’s complicated right now. I have to go I’ll talk to you later.”
“Ok, I’ll tell him that you called.”
“No! There is no need to tell him I’ll just call him when I’m ready.”
“Alright then. Good night!” He said right before he hung up.
You hung up the phone and got under your covers. Tomorrow you were going to see him and explain the whole mess.

The next day you woke up bright and early to see him at his schedule. His band was going to be performing on Mnet countdown and he was going to be there all day. It was the perfect time to force him to talk to you. He had been avoiding all of your texts and forwarded all your calls to voicemail. Earlier that day You contacted his manager to let him know that you were going to show up. His manager met you at a secret door and walked you to his dressing room. You took a deep breath and mentally prepared yourself. You turned the door knob slowly and walked in.
The first thing you saw when you opened the door was your boyfriend with a girl and they were sitting on a couch with their lips together in a kiss.

Misunderstandings {Part 3}

You pulled back from Matthew with a shocked expression on your face. At that time you looked over to the side to see your boyfriend standing with the door opened looking very upset.
“Jagi-yah, you know I had a feeling you were cheating on me but I pushed the thought to the back of my mind. How could you do this to me?!” he said and pushed his way between you and Matthew and walking down the hall.
“Who is that guy?” Matthew asked.
Your boyfriend stopped and turned around with anger in his eyes.
“So he didn’t even know you had a boyfriend?” ____ said looking at you.
“Well hi. I’m the guy she has sex with after she gets home from your little dinner things.” He said in a smug tone
“Oppa!” You yelled out of shock.
“That’s what she usually yelling.”
“_____, is this true? Is he your boyfriend?” Matthew asked still slightly confused by the whole situation.
“Ex-boyfriend.” You boyfriend replied continuing to walk down the hall and down the stairs.
You tried to chase after him but he was too fast. By the time you got outside he was in his car and speeding down the road. You them felt a hand gently touch your shoulder.
“Are you OK? It was Matthew. You couldn’t help but be upset at him. If he hadn’t kissed you none of this mess who have happened. You turned around and let out all of your anger on him.
“No, I’m not OK! Why did you kiss me?”
“I kissed you because well…I like you. Heck I think I might love you. I was under the impression that you felt the same way about me. I guess I misunderstood.” He said quietly.
You sighed heavily. There were definitely a lot of misunderstandings going around.
“I like you as a friend and only a friend. I was under the impression that you thought we were only friends too. Now I lost my boyfriend.” Another heavy sigh escaped your lips
Matthew then spoke up breaking your train of thought.
“So what are you going to do?”

Misunderstandings {Part 2}

“What the hell is going on and who the hell is this?!” you yelled your blood starting to boil.
“This is Da Eun she is a coordi noona for our group.” He replied getting up from the couch.
“Hi, I’m Da Eun. Its nice to meet you.” She said getting up and extending her hand to yours for a handshake.
“Oppa, can I talk to you please. In private.” you said ignoring Da Eun and her and her outstretched hand.
You walked towards your bedroom and ____ followed close behind you. When he entered he closed the door behind him.
“Do you think I would believe your lie? She is way too pretty to be a coordi noona. Plus why are you hanging out when you coordi noona.”
Its not that coordi noona are ugly its just that this woman was extremely beautiful. She looked more like a model than a babysitter for your boyfriend’s band.
“She is a coordi noona, plus she is also my friend.”
Just then everything in your mind clicked into place. He was trying to make you jealous by hanging out with that beautiful woman.
“Oppa was this your plan to make me jealous? You’re really childish you know that.” You said annoyed.
“You have your friends and I have my friends. You have been spending so much time with Matthew you don’t even have time for me anymore.” He said sounding sad.
“I get it, I’ll stop spending so much time with him and spend more time with you. Happy?”
He pulled you into his arms and placed his forehead against yours.
“Yea, that does make me feel better.” He said. You could feel his cool breath fan your face gently.
“Great. Now get that woman out of my house. We haven’t been together much lately and I want to show you how much I missed you.” You said and kissed him passionately.
He smirked and quickly got rid of the girl so he could show you how much he missed you too.
In the days that followed you spent less time with Matthew and more time with your boyfriend. It felt great to be with him and still be able to see Matthew at least once during your weekly outing.

After your regular dinner date with Matthew he walked you to your apartment as usual and gave you a goodbye hug.
“It was great to see you again and to be able to catch up.” Matthew said with his arm still around you.
“It was great to see you too.” you said smiling and pulling away from him. He then unexpectedly forcefully slammed his lips to yours.

Misunderstandings {Part 1}
It was late at night and you were still stuck at work doing paperwork. Usually you wouldn’t mind being at work so late but you weren’t used to doing paperwork. Luckily a fellow co-worker Matthew stayed back to help. He was also a fellow english speaker and it was nice to take a break from Korean every now and again.
“I’m almost done.” You said to Matthew who was seated next to you.
“Really? That’s good. I’m going to lock up so we can leave. He said getting up from his seat to leave the room.
Ten minutes later you finally finished all your work and was getting ready to head home.
“______, it’s kind of late. I would feel better if I walked you home just to be sure you got home safely.
“Matthew, it’s ok, I’ll be fine, you don’t have to do that.” You said while putting on your jacket.
“I insist. I won’t be able to go to sleep unless I knew you were home safely.”
“Alright then, since you insist.”
The walk didn’t take long, only around 20 minutes. The whole way you guys chatted and laughed about life in general. When you got to your apartment building he again insisted that he walk you up to your apartment and you didn’t argue. When you arrived up to your apartment you gave him a hug and thanked him for everything. During that moment you didn’t notice notice that your boyfriend opened the door and stood there watching the whole thing. After Matthew walked down the hallway you turned to put the keys in the door but was shocked to see your boyfriend.
“Oh! Hey, Oppa.” You said to him nonchalantly while passing walking past him.
“Who was that guy?” He said sounding upset.
“I haven’t seen you all day and you don’t even say hi to me. Why are you awake anyway.” You said while walking into the bedroom.
“I was worried. Who was that guy?” He repeated again in a stern voice.
“That’s my co-worker Matthew.” You said while pulling off your shirt and making your way to your closet.
“That’s awesome. Question, why was Matthew in front of our house.” He said and sat down on the bed.
“He stayed after work to help me and he wanted to walk me home to make sure I was safe.”
“Right, or to get into your pants.”
“Oppa are you serious? We are just friends. You know jealousy is an ugly color on you.” You said while poking your head out of the closet.
“Jealous? I’m not jealous. He just seems like the type of guy who was only being nice in hops to score.”
“Score? Look I’m tired and this conversation is going nowhere.” you said while getting under the covers.
“Fine. Just promise me you will never talk to him again.”
“I can’t promise you that. He is my friend and I am going to see more of him. You’re just going to have to get over it.
“Whatever. We will see who the jealous one is.” He mumbled under his breath while getting into bed and turning off the lights.

Over the next few weeks you continued to get closer to Matthew. He was nice, funny, and a caring person. It was enjoyable to have someone to talk to who just happened to be a guy. Your boyfriend on the other hand wasn’t so happy about the relationship. You would be talking to him and as soon as a call from Matthew came you would act as if _____ didn’t exist.
You and Matthew started to go out to dinner once a week just to catch up on each other’s weeks. Throughout the dinner you noticed that your boyfriend had not called to check up on you since it was getting pretty late. Something didn’t feel right but you pushed it to the back of your mind.
After dinner Matthew walked you home and the evening ended. When you made your way into your apartment you notice that most of the lights were off. When you walked past the living room the only light you saw came from the television softly illuminating the room. Figuring your boyfriend was asleep you didn’t give it much thought. However something didn’t seem right so you turned around to find a girl sitting next to your boyfriend on the couch with his arm wrapped around her.
“What the hell is going on, and who the hell is this?”
